Project Broadcast Texting Tips for Young Living Brand Partners

How to Simplify, Streamline, and Sound Human in Your Text Marketing

If you’re a Young Living Brand Partner who’s serious about building relationships and staying consistent in your business, Project Broadcast can be your best friend. But let’s be honest—it can feel overwhelming at first.

That’s why I’m sharing my top Project Broadcast tips specifically for Young Living leaders. These are the same strategies I’ve used to help dozens of Diamonds and Platinums create communication that feels personal, timely, and low-stress.

1. Start With a Simple List Structure

Before you send a single text, get clear on how you want to group your contacts. In Project Broadcast, you can create Tags – think of them as lists – for different purposes:

  • New Members – For onboarding series and welcome texts
  • Product Users – For education and product tips
  • Inactive Customers – For reactivation campaigns
  • Brand Partners – For business coaching and goal setting

Keep your tag names clear and functional. This helps you stay organized and ensures that each message is relevant to the reader.

2. Use Tags for Smart Personalization

Tags are like tiny notes you attach to a contact. They let you send messages to a very specific group—without having to create dozens of lists.

Some powerful tag ideas:

  • Enrolled at Rally
  • Savvy user
  • Lives in Canada
  • Likes NingXia
  • Attended Bootcamp

You can then say: “Hey {{firstName}}, loved seeing you at Bootcamp last month. Have you tried this week’s NingXia recipe yet?”

This feels custom—but it’s automated.

3. Create a Welcome Campaign and Let It Run

One of the best uses of Project Broadcast is a scheduled welcome campaign. Once someone joins your team, they get a series of messages automatically over a few days or weeks.

Your series might look like:

  • Day 1: Welcome + What to expect
  • Day 3: How to log in and order
  • Day 7: Favorite product tips
  • Day 14: Intro to Loyalty Rewards
  • Day 21: “How are you liking your oils?” check-in

Set it once. Let it run forever.

4. Batch Your Scheduling to Save Time

Instead of logging in every day, carve out one hour a week to schedule your texts ahead of time. You can use broadcasts to promote:

  • Monthly promos
  • Class invites
  • Seasonal recipes
  • Encouragement or leadership content

Project Broadcast lets you schedule by exact date and time, so you stay ahead of the game without being glued to your phone.

5. Sound Like a Human, Not a Robot

Let’s face it—nobody wants another spammy sales text. Keep your messages friendly, short, and helpful. Use emojis if they’re your style, and don’t be afraid to let your personality shine.

Example:

“Hey {{firstName}} 👋 Just a little EO inspo for your week: Did you know a drop of Lemon in your diffuser is great for focus and mood? 🍋✨
You’ve got this 💛 – Nicole”

Warmth + value = texts people look forward to.

Final Thoughts: Use It to Stay in Flow

Project Broadcast isn’t just about sales. It’s about building trust, staying top of mind, and taking care of your people. Whether you’re onboarding new members or encouraging your builders, the goal is the same: make your business feel personal—without it burning you out.
