NICOLE SYLVESTER

Nicole Sylvester is a R&B singer and lyricist. Born in New York, Nicole entered her musical journey as a gospel singer on her church choir. Nicole’s moving and uplifting vocals lead her to become the lead soloist. Friends and family started to take notice of the amazing sound she possessed. At the age of 14, she began entering various talent shows and local events. She quickly learned how to write new songs and add her own personal flare to existing songs. Growing up, Nicole’s idol and inspiration came from Whitney Houston. She is also influenced by the sounds of Alicia Keys, Michael Jackson, and Beyoncé Knowles.

In 2006, Nicole released her first original single “I Need You” produced by J Influential. The song was highly favored and indicated a great start to her musical career. Although her love for music was strong, her determination to continue her education was stronger. She vowed to obtain her bachelors degree while singing at local and college events. Staying true to her goals, Nicole recently graduated from Stony Brook University where she had the honor of singing the national anthem during her very own commencement ceremony. With a degree under her belt, Nicole is ready to shine. Dedicated and focused, Nicole is in the studio working on her debut album. Nicole Sylvester is definitely an artist to keep on your radar.
